Parade of flower floats. The Panagbenga 2010 float, sponsored by the Panagbenga Secretariat, leads the participating floats through the course of the Grand Float Parade. This year, Baguio city’s celebration of Panagbenga coincided with its centennial foundation – making it more meaningful. Moreover, after the recent typhoon which devastated the city, the flower festival showed the citizens’ resiliency amidst past adversity. DPC has been active in sponsoring local festivals. In Panagbenga 2010, we collaborated with the Baguio Flower Festival Foundation, Inc. (BFFFI). The partnership with BFFFI has not only built promotional outlets for tourism activity, but also helped the region’s cultural identity to flourish. As part of the sponsorship, DPC provided festival volunteers and marshals with event T-shirts. In addition, DPC corporate banners were displayed along the Marcos Hi-way and Kennon Road.
